"Cultural Communication Partners" is our newest program that will start this semester (Spring 2019) and is a program where an international university student from the Auraria campus will be partnered one on one with a university student studying at Colorado Christian University. This program is different from our Conversation Partners program in that it is only one semester long and is in partnership with a Colorado Christian University class on Cross Cultural Communication and Leadership.
If you are an international student interested in having a friend from America and would like to help them with an assignment to learn and experience how to have a cross cultural friendship - this program is for you. You can be excellent in English as your second language or you can still be learning - either way the emphasis is on forming a friendship with someone from another culture and learning to communicate with someone from another culture.
Please sign up below if this is something you are interested in being apart of. There are about 20 spots available (10 female and 10 male students needed). You will be paired up with someone of the same gender and you will meet once a month and communicate using technology in between meeting. This is a great opportunity to learn more about American culture, make an American friend and improve your communication skills.
